Using Christ's example of taking His followers close to nature to teach them, it is the purpose of the Little Egypt Christian Youth Camp to bring to the young people
who attend, a better appreciation of God and His will as revealed in the Bible, as well as encourage and guide them in applying Christian principles to all areas of
their lives.
It is the belief of those associated with the camp that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and therefore it is the most important body of knowledge. Young people need
to know spiritual truths above everything else; likewise, they need to grow just as Christ grew, in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God, and in favor with man. With this
in mind the activities of the camp are designed to help build the whole person of the Christian young man and woman and to encourage the young people who attend to become
physically strong, intellectually well-trained, socially lovable and pure, and spiritually pleasing to God.
For growth in wisdom (intellectual) there will be Bible classes as well as inspirational talks. For growth in stature (physical) there will be excellent meals and sports
such as swimming, softball, volleyball, shuffleboard, etc. For growing in favor with God (spiritual) there will be worship services and devotions. For growing in favor
with man (social) there will be games and activities designed to broaden acquaintances, combined with classes and social programs.
Our program is designed to develop spiritual attitudes; therefore, we ask that you come with a song in your heart and a willingness to share your love of God with others.
